Shia LaBeouf looked dramatically different when he was spotted taking care of errands in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The American Honey star looked casual as usual, but he revealed a more clean-shaven look after sporting a long beard in recent months.

The 36-year-old actor, who has lately been keeping a low profile in the wake of abuse claims made against him and drama surrounding his departure from the upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling, was seen around town without his wife Mia Goth or their six-month-old daughter Isabel.

Shia seemed to be indulging in some nostalgia with his white T-shirt for Ascot Park, which was subtitled, ‘The Legend Live On.’

The shirt was referencing a dirt-paved race track in Los Angeles County that closed in 1990.

The screen star paired the retro shirt with charcoal shorts, and he walked in a weathered set of honey-colored Caterpillar work boots.

He wore his shaggy dark hair slicked back and wet looking, and in place of the beard he was last seen with just three days earlier, he had some designer stubble.

Shia also brought along a set of black sunglasses to cut down on the piercing sun.

He kept cool on the warm day by picking up a green juice before he was seen heading into a Serj Custom Suits & Tailoring location.

The actor has ben on the move lately, as he has been traveling to support his wife Mia Goth as her latest film Pearl, a prequel to her horror film X, premiered at the Venice Film Festival before having another high-profile screening at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The two films, which have both received strong reviews, were shot back-to-back in New Zealand, though director Ti West revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he got the idea to shoot a prequel in quick succession before he had even started shooting X.

‘I had the idea right before I got on the plane [to New Zealand],’ he explained. ‘I knew we were going to a place that you could make a movie when no one else could make a movie, and I knew that we were going to have all of this cast and crew and equipment and everything there, ready to do it.

Both films only cost about $1 million each to shoot, making them a relatively safe gamble for their production companies and the distributor, A24.

The couple welcomed their daughter Isabel back in March, though the news wasn’t reported until the following month.

In recent weeks, Shia has found himself involved in the seemingly never-ending drama surrounding the upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling, which stars Florence Pugh, Harry Styles and Chris Pine and is directed by Olivia Wilde, who also has a supporting role.

Shia was originally cast in the film as Florence’s on-screen husband, before he was replaced by Harry.

After abuse allegations were leveled against the Honey Boy actor by his former girlfriend FKA twigs, Olivia later claimed that she had fired him from the production due to his conduct on set.

She doubled down on those claims in a recent Vanity Fair profile, explaining, ‘My responsibility was towards her. I’m like a mother wolf. Making the call was tricky, but in a way he understood. I don’t think it would’ve been a process he enjoyed. He comes at his work with an intensity that can be combative. It wasn’t the ethos that I demand in my productions.’

She added, ‘I want him to get well and to evolve because I think it’s a great loss to the film industry when someone that talented is unable to work.’

But late last month, Shia denied her claims that she had fired him, instead claiming that he quit the project.

A video that was later leaked to social media appeared to bolster his contention that he was not fired.

The clip, which was filmed in a car, appeared to show Olivia begging the actor to stay with her film, which referring to Florence as ‘Miss Flo,’ which some fans have found to be demeaning.

Shia further explained his exit from the film, alleging that he left due to what he thought was inadequate rehearsal time, while sharing two emails to Variety that he claimed to have written to Olivia recently.
